Hi everyone, I just purchased a mikron for my wife at Christmas and it seems to be breathing harder than she expected, will an adjustment to the intermediate pressure make a difference in the ease of breathing? thank you for your help.

I she is breathing out of the waster it will breath harder than if it was in the water. If the IP is set in the proper range all the breathing adjustments are in the second stage. If it was purchased at a LDS take it back in and have them check it, it may not have been set up properly from the factory. The dive shop should adjust it to breathe easier for no charge.

Take it in... Breathing resistance as a primary should be dialed in around 1.5" H2O with that regulator
