Thought you might enjoy this. I didn't until I was able to retrieve the lens by feeding the moray at a different spot.

Turn your sound on.

Hahaha!

I really shouldn't laugh. It's bound to happen to me.

Morays are really shy creatures. You should be able to just stick your hand into that hole and get it back . My first hand experience is they only tend to bite off the very tip of your finger...
Signed Lefty...

Awesome! Very glad you got the lens back, too. I dropped the same piece of gear on the head of a puffer fish. I think it's just the karma of those lenses. :)

In keeping with my tradition of doing really stupid things diving, here's another one:

Hate to be the one to point it out, but there was not a lot of concern for the coral in evidence...

Hi, the area that we did this has been pretty heavily damaged by the sub you see in the background so this is why we picked it. Noriko is also pretty careful not to hold on to any of what remains of the coral to break it.

They also feed lg travalles and nurse sharks here and the damage the sharks do is also pretty significant....but it's all contained in one area no larger than a 10'by 10' area.

Interesting position.

The OP took the remark for how it was meant and provided a reasoned response. Is it stupid to be concerned for preservation of coral?

To the OP: sorry for the hijack. I will not post further on this thread so as to not continue the derailment.
