Now that these lights are on sale at DRIS, I'd really like to know the answers to these questions...

- Is it safe to charge the light and leave it unused, or must you partially discharge it to safeguard the battery?
- Is it safe to run the light all the way down, or will that harm the battery?

Edge never got back to me; if answers from the manufacturer are not available, maybe more user anecdotes have piled up in the last 5 months.

I tried Chris on email again and he got right back to me. He suggested storing the light in a cool place at 60% charge, which is typical for lipo batteries. The cells are also protected from over-discharge.

These are the answers I expected, but with a sealed canister, I really wanted to be sure.

Those of you who have had the light for a while, how do you like it? Can anyone compare the output to a 10W HID?
