While I'm sorry to see we won't be getting a new dive site, I am quite glad they are going to restore the old gal' - she's a beautiful vessel and if restoration is possible I'll be happy to see her in all her glory once again.

After Waimea Falls Park went over to Audubon and the cliff dive show ended we considered doing a regular show off the yard arms, with Hooters as the main "client", but even crazy high divers don't want to go into Honolulu harbor!
 
My wedding reception was on that boat. May 18, 1980.

That was also the day Mt St Helens blew. It was a sign.......
