I finally broke down and bought a Nitek 3 Saturday and used it Sunday. Everything seems to be easy to use.

Switching gases was very easy even with the thick gloves I was wearing.

I didn't buy the software or interface yet. Does the software for this do any dive planning or does it simply upload your dive profiles?
 
If you go to dive rite's web site (www.dive-rite.com), you can download in PDF the manual for the computer. I believe it is just a graph program to help you see your dive.
