Hello! I'm about to buy my first every regulator, and I could use your quick help!

Choice #1:
  • Ocean Pro Osprey F400 + OP20 Occy
  • Price: AUD779
Choice #2:
  • Apeks XTX200 + XTX40 Occy
  • Price: AUD1199
My requirements, which I believe both sets satisfy:
  1. At least 2HP and at least 4 LP ports
  2. Nitrox-ready, up to 40%
  3. Available in yoke
  4. Balanced or overbalanced (i.e., don't care if piston or diaphragm, but at least not unbalanced)
  5. Ability to tune the flow
  6. I don't believe I'll be diving in waters less than 10C
  7. Easy serviceability (I'm still confirming whether local dive shops can service the Ocean Pro)
Besides that, there's a big price difference, so I'm trying to determine whether I should go with the cheaper, or why I should spend money on the more expensive. Thank you in advance for your help!!

I'll opt for xtx200. because over 10 years the price difference is marginal.
but if you have experienced the oceanpro first hand, and like the build quality and breathing performance.

I suppose you can't go wrong with that too.
