I,m not a DR. but I work in the x-ray dept. at a hospital and i don't think it's human i'm going with turtle.

I'm with Jeffreyd and Andy - turtle.. and given the location of the find, loggerhead or hawksbill is your best guesstimate of species.

Wow! Didn't look like any turtle I've seen (though I've never seen a sea turtle skeleton). Very cool.
