Well it's raining here also. We've had thunderstorms all day (my relatives:D ). We've been fortunate (unless you ask the school age kids) in that our "big snow" of the year was only about an inch.

we were out in jimbo's boat during that squall.. in the dark..
don't you hate zero viz and you can't see the harbor/channel..
and you know there's a shallow reef with a surf break between..

Yes that was almost as exciting as me looking at sand at 208' looking for that elusive wreck...Jimbo is a trooper for taking us out there today, following us for our drifting Deco, and then returning us safely in the dark and in the rain. Thanks Jimbo!

Is it raining cats and dogs or what? Just ran down to CompUSA and got drenched! :shakehead Just hoping it's not a repeat from last year...started around now too...
Late to the thread, but............

Was heading over to the Kona Brew Pub to meet my wife yesterday at 1740 or so and saw the squall passing between me and Koko crater. Weird, it was dry as a bone as I watched the sheets of rain coming down about 1/4 mile to the south. Finally drove under it, and went from dry to absolute deluge in less than 100 feet. Lots of brown runoff flowing into the Hawaii Kai marina for quite a while, then the rain just quit, went out to sea I suppose.

Wild stuff.......

This is what it looked like in North Central Texas yesterday...
