Hey-
I want to come with Pot-Stirrer Pue too. We make a pretty good team!
Of course you can come too!!!!
How could I possible go anywhere near a military base (read: place with lots of men) without you????

DMP:
I wonder if the club that was featured in the book "Breaking Ranks" is still open? I hate it when names slip away (important ones at least). Well got to hop and pop now, there's a bar to go to and my seat is gettin cold and a dart board that is open. Maybe I can entice a few patrons and take their drinkin money from them.

Hey Rich and Tain we do need to get together and hit the AO like good airborne soldiers do, and have some great diving as well. If your married bank up on the kitchen passes :eyebrow: .

I am all over it!! Just give the word and I could even try to fix things up at my end, my dive shop/club is going to get a new second dive boat, awesome custom work! And I can start a charter anytime, maybe talk them into giving a military discount or something. We'll post it and try to get other scubaboarders into the fray.

(Just a little side note, for members, I keep getting asked the question "Why do we wear our flag backwards on our uniform sleeve?" If you view a flag on a staff being held, while marching/running into the wind, the flag goes forward with the stars in the front. This signifies, that we march forward always, while accomplishing the mission assigned, never backwards (as in retreating).)

Funny you should mention that. I was recently quizzing DMP on exactly the same thing!

So your flag is on your right sleeve then?

Ours is on our left sleeve....... not that it matters, as it's symmetrical anyhow.

For use in the field we have a green-on-green version that, when viewed under tactical lighting (ie. red-lenses) appears in its proper colors (red and white). Neat, huh? :)

Your more than welcome to come to  . I guess I could train the two of you the proper ways to party the Airborne way :crafty: .

After long deliberation on my next duty assignment and influencers that have come to light. I have chosen to go back home, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. It was a neck and neck with a prime assignment in Florida but the Tar Heels won again by a landslide like they are going to do in the NCAA tournament. No offense to the nice people in Florida but North Carolina has it all. Got my notification yesterday after making that call to branch and telling them my choice, and looking foreward to PCS'ing there, meeting up with old friends and diving with them.

Yes it is on the right, and your flag showing in proper colors under taclite is REALLY cool, I never seen that before!
