molasses once again as the conditons above and underwater were terrific, and i must admit iv'e had minor steering issues with my boat for months now; staying close to home. double on northern deep buoy; 50-85FT, light winds, bright sunshine, mdt current, blue water, viz 80FT 1st dive(best in a while), decreasing to 50-60FT on the second(low tide). dives 60-70 minutes, 100HP(36-3700lbs), 36 mix; eagle rays(@75-85FT), a much larger school just out of range above the dropoff, turtles(no eagle rays or turtles on 2nd dive), angels everywhere, and a cobia @ 55FT(rarely seen @ molasses, iv'e only observed one, ever on this reef). wide angle photos by tim,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Another set of fabulous pictures...
The Queen Angels would be incredible framed...

Thank you. I use a Nikon D300 in a Seacam housing, Ikelite strobes. All the photos from the last few days were with a 12-24mm lens in a superdome port.

We go out on Reefman's (Phil) boat, and have a few favorite spots on Molasses.

such great shots again.... I like all of them, but those spotted eagle rays and the turtle are so nice. I like how you positioned a diver in some of the shots as well: just like the magazines. really enjoy your photos, keep posting them!

Beautiful as always!

so jealous of you man. Dove the keys twice. Once for my OW Cert and then for a vacation. Loved it both times, even though the 2nd one we had horrid visibility.

Love the photos! Can't imagine how many years it will take me to get just one picture 1/2 as good as any that I've seen you post. (On the other hand, just think of all the diving I'll have to do to practice...:eyebrow:)
