PADI DM to SDI AI?

Hello there,

I am going to be moving to an area in the near future where the only shop available is an SDI facility. I currently am an active PADI DM, and am interested in pursuing higher professional rating. Would I be able to take a SDI instructor course or AI course starting as a PADI DM? Or would I have to do a SDI crossover to become a SDI DM first?

The crossover is to go forward with your training without being penalized for being certified by another agency, which means that you can pursue higher professional ratings directly.

Yes. You can go right into the SDI instructor developement program or the AI.

Travis, as already mentioned, we recognize your DM credentials as equivalent to an SDI rating.
