I love pangas! I've spent countless hours on them in Mexico - fine, seaworthy boats, easy to maintain, drive them right up on the beach, etc.

I was a commercial diver (sea urchins) for 22 years off the California coast, so the boats we used were quite different - Radon boats, which are specific for diving & carrying weight in rough seas, but pretty pricey compared to a panga. Take a look at their website though - Radonboats.com
