This is why I suggested you not worry about the rubber bits, they are rarely usable, esp the duckbill. If it's stuck to the cans, the easiest way to remove it is to pull off the easy stuff, then soak it over night in denatured alcohol, it will come off easily after that.
And that IS a long yoke. I have used them at 3k before.
