As I've noted before, two hours of surface breathing pure oxygen will take you from USN Group-N to Group-A.

That is a good point, but the aeronautical regulations might not take this into account when imposing a no fly restriction on pilots after a dive. The best thing to do is to consult the regulations in your country and plan accordingly.
