Morning peeps
I have a pole spear that is 3’ w/o the tip and i am looking to have it cut into 2 pieces so that it fits into my dive bag for travel. I dont want to buy another because this one has some great grips on it. Any suggestions are welcome Thanks !

ThAt is entirely impractical unless your family member owns a Machine shop and will do it for free. There are short two piece lionfish spears on the market and they are not expensive

As already posted, it would be cost effective to buy a take down pole. Most smaller take down poles I am familiar with are in 2 ft sections.
Find out what the thread is on your tips and search accordingly that way you can use your favored tips.
Adapters are available too.
