@Paul Desmarais,

I have a Poseidon Odin/Jetstream 1st stage (model #3960, pictured) that I would consider parting with. I purchased it new ca. 1995, and it was used very briefly for back gas (until I very shortly purchased a second complete Poseidon Odin for this), and then (briefly) as an Ar reg, and then kept as a spare.

When it was used, it was used in OH quarries or the Great Lakes, only.

My Odin/Jetstreams were purchased to be used on PST HP100/120 manifolded doubles pumped to 4,000 psig, in the Great Lakes, for "advanced deep air", extended range dives. I would take them a "bit" deeper than 200 ffw. They were recommended to me by experienced divers doing these deep Great Lakes shipwreck dives, and the Odins performed flawlessly.

I ceased using my Poseidon Odins, essentially, in the early 2000's.

If you're interested, DM me.

In case anyone is unaware, those regulator photos in response #4 show a 2305 (also "2980," for some odd Scandinavian reason -- go figure), the older first stage model for the Cyklon 300, an unbalanced, co-called "compensated" piston reg — happiest at about 11.5 to 12 bar (about 167-174 psi).

Great regulators; dirt simple to work upon -- mostly used for my pony bottles nowadays.

if that’s what you were using with poorly-tuned Jetstream seconds, that can pose an issue . . .

Yes, @Paul Desmarais, you have a "classic." I don't know anything about these (except what I have just googled and read).

Do your 2nd stages look anything like the ones I show in my pic, above? People refer to this design as a "shower head" (versus the "hockey puck" design of the Cyklon).

I have shower head second stages.

Ideally I would like to buy a first stage compatible with those second stages.

The "Thor" was simply a Jetstream regulator attached to, typically, a 2940, a slightly more modern version of that first stage in your photos -- virtually, the same guts, though. Every Poseidon second stage can be used with any of their first stages.

Properly adjusted, there has never been a lack of compatibility with use of either a Cyklon or a Jetstream second stage with that first stage. I've used them, interchangeably, for years -- both the 2305 and the later 2940, seen below . . .
