i like my UK 100, but a can is always a better option, i think all depends on your budget.


I second the UK light cannon. A 10w HID for under $200. It creates plenty of light for night dives in New England waters. There is a rechargable battery kit, but regular batteries get a lot of life.

I've tried LEDs as backup lights, and found that no matter how much light they make on land, they don't seem to be good dive lights.
