Problems with Bryan from VDH

I was wondering if anyone else has recently placed an order with Bryan and not heard anything back from him.

I placed an order with him on the 26th of September and since placing the order and the full payment being deducted from my credit card I have tried making contact with him about once a week for the last 6-7 weeks and have heard nothing back from him nor have a I received my order.

When I first placed the order Bryan messaged me back with in a day or two telling me his power was down from the hurricane but once it was back up and running he would ship it ASAP so I understand he had some logistical issue and no worries more than happy to be accommodating for a couple weeks until things were back up and running but now its running into week 7 and I have not even heard a response back.

Like I said more than happy to be accommodating to the order delay but I just have not head anything from him for going on 7 weeks now. Anyone know if maybe he has had some other kind of personal issues, family emergencies, etc.

For those who haven't heard, Bryan passed away yesterday after a brief hospital stay. I have no other information at present. We worked together on several Sea Hunt Forever shows and he was one of the good ones. My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Somewhere buried in discussions was the advice to talk to your payment provider (credit card company) to get a refund... VDH was just him. His surviving family is not able to handle it.

now I feel really bad for asking so much about my order.

Reminds me of the Steve Martin joke where he tells the story of a question his mom asked him:

When mom asks about her husband—“Where’s Glenn?”—and Steve explains that dad died three years ago, she fires back, “Well, that explains a lot.”

So Don't feel bad. Bryan would have appreciated the humor in the situation.

You should be able to get your money back through your credit card company.
