As this is still quite a new company...I am working to sign-up dive shops as Authorized Dealers. The only "stumbling-block" in marketting The Pterodactyl Backplate/Harness System appears to be the price. Understandably, due to the design of the Pterodactyl, it is more expensive to manufacture than any of the other plates. If the cost of the product is the only consideration, then the interested diver should look elsewhere. However, if PERFORMANCE is the issue, then you have come to the right place! Without a doubt...the Pterodactyl out-performs any other backplate on the market and has features and amenities that you won't find with any other product. And, I have succeeded in moving manufacturing from the USA to an excellent machine shop in Italy and, as a result, the price is now lower...and with better workmanship too. Currently, the Authorized Dealers that an interested diver can go to and see the Pterodactyl are...(Massachusetts) Diver's Market, Plymouth, South Shore Divers, Weymouth and Northeast Divers, Chelmsford, (Pennsylvania) Indian Valley Scuba, Harleysville and finally (New Hampshire) Aquanuts Scuba, Concord. Many other dive shops will sign-on in the near future.
