The Tortuga is actually a hybrid bc with a little side inflation to minimize the face-down tendancy of the rear inflation.

Thanks Captain for making that point. I prefer back inflation, but that is one "down side". Back inflate BCs have a tendency to push your face forward at the surface when fully inflated. Just something to keep in mind.

Simply not true if they:

1) Have crotch strap that's properly adjusted

2) the Diver is properly weighted.
