Na,
I don't take my tank when I travel.I use the ones from the place I work at.I can use them for free.My weight-belt is a pocket one so I just get lead wherever I go and take my empty belt. It's easier than that. When I dive in N.Z. with a 125 I can get a 2 hour dive but that's when I dive for myself. You need a buddy with a large capacity tank to get the full benefit or their air use should be 2 tanks to your one.I have a different buddy for both.
Cheers.

I bought a reg early on, and ended up regretting it.

I traded it back later, to the same store, for a better reg.

Initially, price seems to be the main determining factor.

But performance is more important than price, any day.

Comparing gear from several stores is a must in order to get the best gear at the best price. Problem is, nobody tells you that, early on.
