When i met "Herself" she told me that she wanted to go to the Galloping Pogos.

OK, fine, I say, but you're going to have to learn to dive, first.

She did.

85 dives into her career, I watched her put on her 5/7 suit, strap into her harness and wings, check her air and back-roll into the Hammerheads, Seals, Mobula Rays and Turtles.

She's now on 200 or so and does night solo dives.

I wouldn't have had it any other way.

I'll go to the South Pacific without her in August, but only because she churned up her vacation. I'll send her a postcard. I'm going with a female diver as a roomie, and "herself" could care less, she knows I'm her buddy, no one elses!
