Question re inflator hose config

Ok, at the risk of hijacking my own thread, a question about the bungie loop that holds the inflator hose in place:

1) Does it just loop inside the keeper that holds the D ring in place? The sites I've seen mentioned a bungie loop, but give no detail.

2) Is it a simple square knot on the back side, or something else?

3) What thickness is best?

1) It goes same route as D-ring i.e. it's paralel to D-ring and it's about the same size.
2) Yes and (as always) drop of super-glue
3) The same you use for backup reg necklace

#2: I like H's new use of a large o-ring. No knot needed. Harder to put on of course, but...
