I'm curious if anyone has ever dove past KP Hole (purposely). I've rented a home on the river about a mile down from KP Hole. Any insight would be great. Thanks in advance!

My understanding is that the problem is mostly the lack of public take-out points between KP Hole and the bridge. If you have a house on the river, that's not an issue! I've kayaked and tubed that stretch of river many times, don't see why it wouldn't make a nice dive.
