First time
Hi,
We have questions about Raja Ampat's dive in January.
We've read a lot about R4 in the forum and we're wondering about this place, our experiences are various dive spots in Central America and Egypt.
Our questions are initially as follows.

1. Whether this is the right date for diving with Liveabord, we are interested in Blue Manta 7/8 nights
2. We have both been diving for 7 months, we have +/- 45 dives is it a suitable place for divers with little experience?
3. We finished AOWD + Nitrox we are conservative dives only 2 + 1

Maria

Thank you for the explanation of the colloquial name SMB (we have closed)

Our big problem is not knowing English, not everything can be explained with a translator.

We are very responsible people and we don't want to spoil our dives, we have booked a private guide.

We are thinking about a short reconnaissance in Raja Ampat 4-5 days, maybe you have some recommendations of diving centers.

We want to say that this is our joint account of Maria and Marek.

Thank you Very much all the very valuable information about Raja Ampat, we made our decisions and booked the Blue Manata 9/8 in January 2023.
This is our first stay on the dive boat where we will live, maybe you can give advice on what to take with you on such a trip.
As you know, you can't go to the store.

As for flights, we will try to use Garuda Airlines, we have enough time, we will be in the Papu and Sorong area for 30 days, we are also thinking about staying in the resort for 5-7 days.

Maria

Good choice, on which date you will be boarding? We also reserve on Blue Manta for the cruise from the 15.01 until the 23.01. We have nearly the same diving experience as you.

Good Evening, We are pleased to meet you, we also have reservations for Blue Manta from 01/15/2023
This will be our second stay at liveaboards. Today we have no experience with boat accommodation and diving.

Looking forward to meet you during this trip. My wife will have around 40 dives and me 60. It will be our first LB.
We are also looking forward to flying to Indonesia.
In November we are going to a short LB in Marsa Alam, Egypt and we will check our LB apartment durability
We are flying on December 26 with Qatar, we will be in Sorong on 14-01 and we live in Swiss Belhotel

I'm sure you will enjoy Egypt. We were at El Gouna (near Hurghada) this summer and did around 16 dives (from a land base) all fantastic. We will arrive in Sorong on the 11.01. but we will spend some day at Papua Paradise Eco Resort before boarding to Blue Manta on the 15.01.

We returned from LB Egypt route BDE boat Alia
We gained some more diving experience
We dived in different ways:
Zodiac - Zodiac; Zodiac - LB; LB - LB; negative descents, current diving,
We dived with a private instructor because we don't want to spoil anyone's dives.
In our opinion, LB is a 5-star hotel on the water, the crew is great,
in our humble opinion, a diving deck with enough space, zodiacs 2 pcs. 7mb + 1 small 3mb

We can't wait to go to R4 and stay at Blue Manta
