I am fairly new to the Austin area and I would like to keep my PADI First Responder Training/ Medic First Aide current, if possible (this will be my eight year with this cert.). I am looking for recommendations near the Austin area that will provide reasonable refresher prices for recertification. One shop I had asked wants to charge full price, plus books, plus equipment. This just becomes too expensive, where I will need to switch over to the more affordable Red Cross training opportunities. Before I give up on this Divers cert., I wanted to see if any of you had recommendations. There are three of us who need the refresher course and use this education/certification for some of our volunteer work. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
