Hi,

I am interested in doing a servicing course so not only can I service my own equipment but could do others too. Can anyone provide information as to where I could do this in the UK and how much it would cost me.

Many Thanks,

Andy

Hi Andy

since you live in the UK you have to live with EU law and EU law prohibbits
service seminars for divers how do not professionaly use this.
I short this means,seminars/courses will only be thougt to dealers.

Maybe you can close a deal with your LDS,but this will limit you to
the brands they are selling.EU law states that you have to be certifeit
for every brand you are going to work on.

Check out this thread.

There is alot of talk about this subject. I don't know about the UK, but here in the states it's not a legal issue, but an agreement between the manufacture and the LDS, that keeps the consumer from learning about reg maintance.

Thanks for the info guys.
I will look into this in greater detail as this is something I really want to do.
