Yes the Rix actually uses the water moisture for lubrication. All of the fire depts use a filter media and or a moisture separator to eliminate the water in the line.
It really is a necessity in any high pressure system. You will rot out the tanks or worse, breed germs.
I just bought a second Rix from eBay so I may use the two to make one complete unit.
The motor on the one pictured here is better and will be used on the second one I just bought. This one I will be selling with the 5ph motor that came with the one I just bought and all the extra parts.
