Yes- and in the realm of you're never too old to learn... someone just pointed that obvious and necessary methodology out to me a few weeks back. Before then, I dove with all lights turned off.

They explained it and I immediately said, "D'oh!"

There's lots of people on the trip who will have great accumulated experiences and knowledge to share! That's the beauty of CCV.
