My dive buddy and I are planning on going to Roatan in November and were wondering if anyone has any experience diving in Roatan during November. It is rainy season and we were wondering if this will affect our diving. Thank you!

I'm going to Roatan in September & purposefully booked at that time to avoid the rainy season, but I have since found out that although November is indeed the rainy season, the rain showers only last in short spurts or come fairly early in the day. Diving goes on regardless!!! Yahoo!!! :D P.M. & let me know where your staying, I'm curious as there are many good resorts there.

rain is not that big of a deal in RTB It rains there quite regular, but like SCG said the diving goes on. We even made one dive master take us out when it was pouring. He didn't want to go, but we talked him into it. You'll love it down there. Where were you guys plannning on staying?

The temperatures are nice during this perod. However, runoff decreases vis on the surface and ultimately at depth because of less light penetration. This is observed on a day by day basis after rain on Roatan.
