We became involved in SAFE Scuba through Dale Kleier and his dive shop out of Hillsboro, Oregon. Last year was our first experience accompanying the group to Roatan. We had gone because a good friend of my husband's had had a stroke. This trip was life changing for him and for myself husband and I. If you have Apple TV I highly recommend watching a documentary called "Adapting to Dive". Phenomenal. Unfortunately our friend had another stroke and passed away recently. He was so looking to going again. His brother told us he said the highlight of his life was learning to scuba dive. Imagine.....
