Sorry, that wasn't a dig at you it's just that email can get a little impersonal at times and in my experience talking directly to someone gets better results.

Here was my original question:

late last year I purchased a 21W 9amp NiMH HID focusable light
from your store. It has the older style twist focus
light head and I was wondering if it were possible to upgrade the
light to the newer style 'test tube' heads that come with the light
now. How much would something like this cost? Would I be able to
trade the original head in? Is it worth it?

I'm one of the European metalsub 'followers' . I use the HID 125 and really like it. It's one of the best built lights i've ever come across. They're built to NATO MILSPEC and can really take a beating. I dive mostly in North sea conditions. Vis about 6 ft on a really good day. The HID 125 has never let me down yet.
