That sounds far more like it - the BBC article does say that after it ran aground it was offloaded and a fort built nearby for the sailors who were not transferred to the two smaller escort ships. It also says they went back and found the fort had been destroyed - that implies the location was known and re-found so was presumably in the ships log and so on.

Still - I could fancy going over and diving it - especially if someone was going to fund an expedition to do so. - Phil

Must be an old suit, Dacor doesn't exist anymore

I know it's an old picture. I know that Dacor is already gone. Wetsuits do not last as much as reg-sets, but it still was rewarding.
