My family does a lot of scuba diving on the east coast of Florida.... but we also do a lot of fishing in the FL lakes.... and we do a lot of water skiing on the lakes, and fishing on the reefs and anchor diving on the west coast and scalloping in Homosassa....
we do a lot of water stuff in a lot of different places and types of water (fresh to salt water).
I used to have to get charts for inland and ocean on separate chips. Now though Navionics has the Navionics+ chip that includes SonarChart (high detailed bathymetry maps) for both inland as well as ocean all on one chip. Not only does it save me switching chips in my GPS it also saved me a bunch of money.
Just thought I'd share that money and time saving tidbit.
Anybody else had experience with the Navionics+ chip?
