A Scubaboard diver was brutally attacked by a mad Gray Triggerfish in Key Largo over Labor Day weekend. ****** said, "It was horrible, the fish came out of nowhere and tried to kill me. If I hadn't had my camera to fend it off, I may not have made it."

you're very lucky you were able to escape with out any injury....phew! :wink:
 
Wow! They are agressive. Good thing the damsel fish are not so big!!
 
They are a lot bigger when they are puffed up.
 
The only thing more agressive than the Triggerfish is the damselfish, but no one takes the poor damselfish seriously because of its diminutive size.

The Australian one was probably a Titan Trigger fish. I have seen them make grown men cry.

wow I'm a lil leary of diving w/ these nasty fish....and I was worried about a shark! go figure!
