Considering it, depending on availability and finding a room mate. Looking into airfares from east coast (probably JFK). Seems like 20-24 hours flight times (1 stop, NRT). What time/days for arrival in / departure from Manila would work best?

Basically there are 2 schools of thought
1... Arrive in Manila on the morning of June 18 and transfer to the resort from the airport.
2... Arrive the day before and over night at the Midas hotel and transfer with other staying there to the resort the next day.

I am using option #2 to try to help with the jet lag.
Either option works just remember that you cross the international date line when searching flights.
