Was looking over Reef Divers web site. My eyes kept going back to the average winter water temp of 78*. As I stated in a earlier post, I'm taking my HotSkin, but with 3 dives a day, it my not be enough at that temp. I'm thinking about getting a shorty (maybe 2.5mm) or some type of core warmer to add to the HotSkin. I really don't want to take my full 3mm.

Any recommendations?

take the 3mm... everyone I dive with gets cold on dive 2 without the wetsuit. I go without, and get cold. Plus, if you do some shore diving you'll have some protection from the iron ore and fire coral. Have fun!!

So....Is fire coral like poison oak, that is, if you brush up against it does it remain on your suit to bother you later?

My NeoSport 2.5 mm front zip vest came today. Fits perfectly. The seams and #10 zipper look to be of good quality. Look forward to diving with it. Heck, I look forward to diving anyway. :D

IIRC, it was about $50. So, if anyone is concerned about possibly getting chilled in Brac, I think this might do the trick.

Today is one of those days when I feel especially excited and anxious to be diving in Cayman Brac. I'm really looking forward to seeing all of y'all again and to be diving again. I have GOT to move closer to salt water.
