DaleC, Sorry to digress but have to ask--WHAT are you going to do with that anchor?
 
Tie it to my boat of course... after I find one of those too.

I'm about 6hr's into restoring and stabilizing it and will probably display it. It appears to be a 1940-50's era admiralty anchor probably used in the local logging industry on the lake. The Circle with a J is the makers mark (haven't found what company that represents yet) and 1 CWT means 1 hundred weight or about 112lb's. Turns out being mostly buried in muck preserved much of the original paint and metal below the shackle so I am just going to just clear coat it once I clean it. I'll post a finished pic when I'm done.

The patina was still pretty good so I clear coated with this stuff. And, I found another one (also recovered solo) so I guess I'm back at it.
