That's one way to prove that the experience is authentic and that the sharks are not tame pets.

Just saw a video about a couple of young guys that go out with Randy. They love sharks, pet them on the nose, clean them of hooks, etc. They were/are attempting to get out the message about sharks being a good thing and not the killers they're being portrayed. Of course,I agree in principle but still as I watched, was thinking it's only a matter of time. Now I'm wondering if the person bit was one of those two young fellows.

It is an activity that is actively promoted on this forum. Dangerous and or irresponsible diving practices are not allowed to be advocated on this forum. So this latest attack is not something anyone should be worried about.

Even though the activity is illegal in Florida, and the operator is located in Florida, this activity is legal because the boat goes hundreds of yards away from. The boundary.

Hope the injuries are not too severe.

Dangerous or irresponsible diving practices ... like say, chumming up bull sharks and shooting cobia off of them? Not classifying that as dangerous or irresponsible myself; just seeing what your definition is there. A lot of divers I know call that bat****. Personally, I think cavern divers are nuts and I would sooner get up close and personal with a GDGW, but I'm not going to tell them to hang up the cave lines and stage bottles.

I don't have details, but I do know the injury was minor. Aside from that I can only speculate as to the circumstances and species, and I won't do that until I know more.
