need some help, my wife and i our headed to the TURKS AND CAICOS IN 14 days. on the news this mourning i heard that there is another storm out in the atlantic headed towards CUBA, is there a site that i can track the storm from? thanks mike

Click on "maps and charts" nest to the storm you are interested in, and it will give the 3 and 5 day estiamted track based on current data.

thanks for the sites! now that i have all this info it does not look good for the turks, apart from damage on the surface, how does a class 4 or 5 storm effect diving. i'll be there a week later. thanks mike

I do not have direct knowledge of the impact (I was in Cozumel 11 months after Gilbert?). But my guess is it isn't good, in this case. I concur about the Frances outlook, I'm sure you'll be *safe* by then but the situation there could still suck. If you have travel insurance, call 'em; if you don't the policies on http://www.insuremytrip.com are largely available until 1 day before departure (insert legalese here). But go look, they're free quotes.

Best of luck. We were sweating TS Earl just before our Cozumel trip, I do NOT like that feeling - I only work to get vacation time and house payments, in that order.
