Matt - CMU as always one outstanding report. All I was missing was some cold water.

Looking forward to the days I can experience these dives myself, but until then thanks for the good read.

Thanks for the report and the photos, Mat and Stasia! I'm going to have to start heading west here pretty soon.

Oh, and Mat, Edd and I were discussing a way to get into that one cave with all the sand blowing out of it. I think it might work...

You're likely gonna have to pull a tank off, use smaller tanks, or flip them out in front of you to fit through the hole. I'm thinking a single tank or 40cf tanks will be more practical since you're gonna have to muscle through, which doesn't leave any hands for flipping tanks out in-front of ya. Also you're gonna have to pull some debri before making the attempt, there were alot of limbs wedged up in there... and watch out for the sand sliding back on you when you block the flow. I'm hoping to get out there in early January, Edds wanting me to get him back on site.

:D

Thanks guys for the report. Stas, I think this needs to be your new smiley :demented:

Anyway, I did like the skirt on the lady holding the fishing pole

Thnx for the report

Sand collapsing when flow is blocked was the cause of some deaths here in Texas at a cave called Jacobs Well. I think it was back in the 70s or 80s when it happened. Something to be careful of for sure.

yeah I'd rather look at drawings then get stuck in sand

Amazing Report!!! Thank you so much for sharing with us your adventure and your pictures. It is surprising what there is to see under the rivers in those caves.

Thanks for the labeling Stas. :D I'm not sure I would have seen that little village of people without your help.
