sunshine, calm winds and flat seas greeted us(michele and bob from chicago along with tim) @ south carysfort this morning. however, the water just looked dreadfull upon reaching the site; green and viz appeared to be only 10-15FT from the boat above the site @ 75FT. we collectively decided to try one dive here then on to the elbow for better viz. the two 75 minute dives were(forget the elbow!!), with exception of the viz(about 25FT @ best in the sand @ 75FT), were excellent. minimal current, 80F and schools of eagle rays(15-20+), chubs, jacks and spadefish, sharks, turtles, groupers, large african pompanos and dog snappers. tims photos, due to the mediocre viz and timid animals, only capture a small portion of the action(although there are 2 sharks visible in photo's 2 and 4), it was cookin,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
