no vanilla, no baby... :rofl3:
it's just not in the same language.

Gato Island in malapascua has very nice macro (and you get to see sharks at the end of the dive- we did!)....

but the long boat ride to there and back is way toooooo long....

Yah, that's the thing about pelagic, depends on the luck.
That's why So far I give Malapascua a miss, still can't dive without macro. But I read from another post here which the poster said he saw so and so in Malapascua, mostly all the gems we can find in macro/muck diving, that kind of convince me to give it a try if I can't stick to my original ittenary.

Hammerhead, believe it or not, that's my real name. :)

Malapascua is not lacking in macro. I got some nice nudibranchs in Malapascua, along with seahorses (regular and pygmy) and mandarinfish are pretty much guaranteed I think.

Having said that if my focus was going to be macro, I would go to Anilao, over Malapascua. No contest there :)

Just my two cents

Thanks for the tips you guys, been away for Christmas, Merry Christmas btw.
Now I will get cracking for my next trip.
Now is a split between this and Sangkalaki, because this plan can end up as costly as Sangkalaki.
