Too many internationally to list so I'll just post the ones I've dived with here off Catalina:

great white shark
short finned mako
blue shark
soupfin shark
swell shark
horn shark
leopard shark
angel shark

You can see them all on my Sharks & Rays of SoCal DVD.

I don't have much to add but I like sharks, so I'll reply.

Several nurse sharks, 1 lemon shark, all in Cozumel.

I'm new and hope to add to that list.

"Guitar shark (is it a shark or a ray?!)
It's definitely a shark, it has a dorsal fin. Well, actually it has at least two!"

Actually, it is considered a ray (Family: Rhinobatidae) with many shark-like characteristics.

I'll play. I've been in the water with blacktip reef, whitetip reef, sand tiger, leopard, zebra, nurse, and wobbegongs in aquariums.

In Hawaiian waters, I've seen whitetip and blacktip reef (again), limbatus blacktip, sandbar, galapagos, gray reef, scalloped hammerhead, whale, and a cookie cutter. I know I'm forgetting something somewhere.
