I am a Private Pilot.

Have owned two Cessna 172's in the past 5 years.
Sold the last one couple years ago.

Flew about 50 hrs a year, 2 trips from Indiana to Florida + Niagara, Myrtle Beach, and others.

Got to where thrill didn't justify the money.

Thought I had finally run out of neat things to do,
then got into scuba...just this summer.

They just did a night Shuttle Launch...

the last time they launched at night 11-24-03,
we were 40 miles north of Orlando at 5000 ft. headed for Orlando Executive.

Even though it was 60 miles away,
it was a fifty-cent-sized spot on the windshield
(at 10 o'clock position)

We've got it on video.

3rd class med is no big deal.
Vision, blood-pressure, pee-test, and quick check over.
