We did a dive trip to St. Croix several years ago (2009) and the diving was quite good but we were on a liveaboard, so I can't comment about the land-based diving. However, I can say that the Frederiksted Pier is a great shore dive. Lots of octopus (in daytime!) frogfish and many other sea creatures. It's one of those dives that you will remember as "something special!"

Hi all, I am looking for some help. While this thread does not specifically speak to the St. Barts area, was hoping someone with local knowledge could reply. My family and I are headed to St. Barts soon and I am trying to put together some cool dives while there. With other activities, I only have two days to commit to diving however; I wanted some opinions on reputable dive shops and what dives I should do. I have an advanced open water cert. and love wreck diving -- any suggestions??
