Thanks for the replies. Looks like I'll just wait till I get to the Dr. on Monday. It is not a big infection, and I certainly don't want to make it worse, I have just heard that Dr.'s can overprescribe antibiotics and since it looks so small I was hoping for some 'chicken soup' type remedy. I am a commercial diver, I do not get splinters and the only stainless steel I work around is the railing on the work boats.

I'd bet rum would fix the problem, however. :)
