One of my Suunto HelO2 computers has lost the plot. It currently thinks I'm at 52.7 metres and I promise you I'm not! Have taken the battery out and replaced it and it just repeats it's dive. It's been well used and it's done it's time. I'm guessing it's game over, any thoughts?

That's a bad depth sensor. Not repairable. Sadly, all too common on Suunto computers of that vintage.

To the best of knowledge, when any computer has this problem, it's because of a dead depth sensor. As already quoted : not repairable, whatever the brand. Time to get something new. Worth to check if your LDS is offering you a discount on a new Suunto. Tried it some years ago when my DiveRite Nitek died, got a truely nice offer on a Nitek Trio.

Found out there was a class action.

Gonna send my Vyper in and see what happens…
