I actually replaced the pedestal seats in my 20' center console with an eight tank box that also serves a seat/leaning post. I cut up a foam swim noodle into six inch sections that are wedged between the tanks so they can't move around.
It is a great set up, and I wish I could post some pictures. The most challenging thing about diving from a small boat is tank transport and storage.
