Here is a dive report I got from MBT divers at http://www.mbtdivers.com/ . Dive report in from Friday - Oriskany, visibility 100'+, water temps 68 on the flight deck.

You might want to check out their website, they have alot of good local info and info on the Oriskany. They also have produced a video on diving the Oriskany. I think it was $19.00, it was definitely worth it.

I have to check with someone,he gave me the sites to check out,but you can go to this link and it has some basic details of the bridge and the areas around it.

This is to the USS Hornet in SD.She is a close sister to the Oriskaney. This site has a few diagrams of the bridge and also decks.
The hornet is in Alameda CA, not San Diego (over 500 miles away).

Not only does MBT divers have an underwater video of the Oriskany they also have a video of her lay out pre-sinking. http://www.mbtdivers.com/

I am sorry. For some reason I keep confusing a few ships.Hornet and Midway are two of them.Anyway, since Oriskaney and Hornet are close sisters, the basic bridge layout shoud be fairly close. At least it will give someone an idea of what they looked at or are looking at.

Very true I didn't give "props" to Down under, but they did mention you on the video. I look forward to going out a couple times with you guys this summer, I have heard nothing but great things about the shop and your boat. Being a diver in the Pensacola area I typically forget about all the great charter ops in lower alabama.
